Current Projects

LAND AND BUILDING

We need to acquire land and build houses in order to reduce our current running costs.
We also wish to put up a school so that orphans from the project as well as those from the community can have access to a good education.
Due to poverty very few orphans are sent to school and many drop out in the early stages of primary education.
The school will cater for grades 1-7 and will aid many children

MEDICAL MOBILE MISSIONS

Many orphans in the surrounding villages don’t have access to even the most basic medical care. We intend to run a medical mobile mission to reach these vulnerable and also educate the villagers on HIV/AIDS prevention.

FARM

We would like to run an agricultural project to aim towards self-sufficiency and to educate children in agriculture and animal husbandry. These projects are still on the “drawing board” so to say and we are still in the process of acquiring sufficient funds to implement them.
Donations towards these projects are vital in order to see them become a reality.

CHILDREN’S OUTREACH PROGRAM

Tebuho Mulala Foundation  have started an Outreach program called the  KIDS BIBLE CLUB. This club was formed to evangelize children from the nearby communities.
They meet once a week and share bible lessons, songs and life experiences.
Many children especially orphans from the neighborhood enjoy coming to these meetings.
Currently there are around 104 children attending the club.

STATISTICS ABOUT ORPHANS/STREETKIDS IN THE MAZABUKA  DISTRICT

According to a survey carried out in 2000 by Hunter and Williamson, Zambia has approximately:
•    1.2 million orphans from all causes including HIV/AIDS.
•    85% of these children are orphaned due to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
•    The above statistics are four years old and by now we assume that the number of orphans has drastically increased as seen by the number of street kids and orphans seen in our community.
•    These children are either single or double orphans living under difficult and harmful conditions.
The children are of different ages ranging from 5-13 years and desperately need help.
